When you’re moving driven and crane lifted vehicles/plant/equipment like Chartered Transport, you need a shallow loading angle. But standard Cheesewedge bodies have a fixed rear overhang, turning tight site access into a tough challenge.

So our team engineered a bespoke solution that fundamentally changes the entire operation of the vehicle.

The custom back end drops to a -12 degree angle for seamless, low-clearance loading. But here is the real advantage: it also lifts completely vertical to 70 degrees.

By folding the rear upright, we instantly cut down the overall vehicle length. The truck handles tight corners and cramped sites like a significantly shorter wheelbase, without sacrificing an inch of loading capability once deployed.

Even better? This bespoke configuration also saves around ¾ of a ton, unlocking a significantly enhanced overall payload.
