City hire is a leading tool and access company with depots around London, the midlands and the North West. They came to Mac’s looking for a new beavertail truck solution that would be perfect for their needs, with lots of access machinery (which sometimes has small flat surfaced wheels) grip was of the paramount concern – especially when loading in inclement weather.
Mac’s decided to launch their new access spec body, with City Hire being the first company to take delivery.
The new body features forge floor flooring through the full length of the vehicle, which has small metal grooves providing excellent traction. It also has the lowest loading angle in the industry, meaning some machinery can load without any assistance from a winch – saving operators time and speeding up loading.
