Mac’s brings expertise to Keighley & Worth Valley Railway by installing FASSI F155 to a new maintenance wagon

The Keighley & Worth Valley Railway (KWVR) is a nationally renowned heritage line, originally opened in 1867, with thousands of visitors from around the country and the world flocking to take in the incredible selection of locomotives and stunning Yorkshire scenery. The line has been featured in countless films, most famously the 1970 classic, ‘The Railway Children’.
KWVR partnered with the crane engineering team at Mac’s, with the approval of FASSI UK to work on something very special, a completely refurbished new track maintenance wagon to replace an older unit that was first used in the 1980’s and fitted with a (very rusty) Atlas Crane.
