A crane truck is a rigid or tractor unit with a crane fitted to the vehicle for the loading, unloading and lifting of goods. HIAB is a make of cranes for trucks but in recent years has been used more and more as a general term for a truck with a crane (think Hoover vs Vacuum Cleaner).
We are your FASSI Gold Installer & Dealer of choice, so naturally, we mainly fit FASSI cranes to our trucks. These cranes are known for their strength, reliability, power-to-weight ratio, and fantastic reach. We do and can also fit HIAB & Palfinger.
The payload on your crane truck will vary on several factors including the size and weight of the crane used. On our large crane builds such as the FASSI F990, we use 25% lighter materials without sacrificing any body strength or yield, to ensure a good payload is achievable.
