Challenge
As demand grew across Southern England, SOS needed to reinforce its ability to deliver quickly, reliably, and directly to their customers with no middle delivery company, especially for clients with unique site access challenges or remote locations.
Rather than rely on third parties, SOS doubled down on its hands-on promise: own the process from start to finish, including the delivery.
Solution
In line with their mission to offer a truly end-to-end service, SOS recently completed the acquisition of four bespoke-built delivery vehicles—two of which arrived just this month. There are no off-the-shelf trucks. They’re custom-designed to overcome real-world delivery challenges, with features tailored to the unique needs of the container transport industry.

“These are bespoke vehicles uniquely based on 8×4 DAF XD and Volvo FH Tridem chassis, offering better manoeuvrability and off-road capabilities than a traditional 8×2 setup. Built with F710RA.2.26 cranes and our patented front legs system, they can overcome virtually any obstacle thrown their way.”
