It’s National Apprenticeship Week across the UK, (10-16th February 2025) and we’re proud to shine a light on our own apprenticeship program.
As the UK’s leading truck dealer and commercial vehicle body builder, we employ over 90 extremely talented local people, with skills covering the full spectrum of motor vehicle manufacture, including design, engineering, fabrication, painting and valeting.
Our apprenticeship scheme has been in place for well over 10 years and has seen multiple cohorts of students passing through the doors, all of which have passed their courses, stayed on at the company, and are now progressing into management-level roles.

We know that people are truly at the heart of what we do, and that’s why Mac’s constantly invests in staff training and upskilling, to ensure employees keep on developing. We have an extremely low staff turnover rate, with a high-number of employees working in the business for up to 30 years, with the company itself having a rich 53 year history.
