Early 1960’s – Beginnings
Mac’s originally started as a removal company based in Walton-on-Thames, ran by Alec’s father Alexander. After leaving school, Alec’s father asked him to work in all aspects of the business and gain an indepth understanding of the industry.
After 5 years Alec wanted to move the business forward and enter the road Haulage industry. This was a success, and the business opened two further depots in Leeds and Warrington.
